Favorite Gex Game Overall

Out of the main trilogy and the handheld games, which one is your favorite?

Mine is the original one.  I love the 2D style, I love the art style, I love the music, honestly I just love everything about it.

If there was one thing I did not like though, it would be the password system and no saves.  Other than that I consider it an underrated masterpiece.

I wish the first game did have a save system, makes me wonder if there's a mod of the game that adds a save system... If not the PC version is probably the easiest to mod. Now I'm curious lol. As for my favorite game in the series, it's definitely Deep Cover Gecko. Funny enough I wanted a copy of Enter the Gecko on the PS1 when I was a kid but the employee at Kmart gave me a copy of Deep Cover Gecko by mistake. I didn't realize it until we were on our way home, but my parents didn't want to go back and return it so I just got to keep it. I think they're all great in their own way.

I was introduced to Gex through the original game, it holds the most memories for me, so it remains my favourite overall game
