Gex Trilogy Remastered

It is officially tail time folks! Gex is coming to modern consoles!
Limited Gun Games will be bringing this classic to Modern Game Consoles and PC.

Any else super excited for the Gex Trilogy Remaster? I know I sure am

I have heard this news. They are trying to release Gex Trilogy and the games that can be played on PS as well as consoles. They have announced that the games can be played on multiple devices such as PlayStation (4 and 5), Nintendo Switch, Steam, as well as Xbox (Series X and S).

I am very excited for Gex Trilogy Remastered especially since I will be able to play it on my Xbox and also on my Nintendo Switch as well if I wish to. I loved Gex when I was younger and very much excited to get back into it as soon as the remaster is released

I can't wait for this! I've been wanting to play Gex on modern platforms for a long time! I'll be getting it on PS5 for sure!

So something that I have seen being discussed on the Discord is will this actually be a remaster like some are thinking.(Myself included)

Limited Run will be bringing this game to modern console via its Carbon Engine which does use emulation software. This makes me feel like it is not so much a remaster.

This also leads me to wondering if this will go as well as other game ports from the best as this will be emulated. While other games from the PS1 era got full blown remakes.

I am still very excited for this release and still feel like it will bring Gex to a whole new audience. I have also heard that Gez Z seems to be loving 90's stuff as of late.. and as we all know GEX IS FULL of 90's XD.

I know someone over on the subreddit asked this the other day. I answered their question, but someone else did too. I already knew it wasn't going to be like Spyro Reignited Trilogy or Crash N.Sane Trilogy, and it was going to be like the Turok 2 re-release that Nightdive Studios made. (Which I know for a fact that Modern Vintage Gamer worked on that and he's working on the Carbon Engine used for Gex Trilogy.)

I'm one of guys who's super excited for the Gex Trilogy. It's about time we get the game's on a modern consoles. There's been a lot of speculations on whether it's going to happen or not but now, we are 100% certain it's happening. I'm getting ready for it on my Playstation 5.

Honestly yeah, the suspense is killing me! Hopefully a gameplay trailer or preview will be shown soon

Bro it's been driving me crazy lol. It's been a few months since it was announced, I was hoping they would let us know what part of 2024 we'd be able to preorder the game. Plus since it's from Limited Run games, we'll have to wait a bit for the game to even be shipped after it's been released. I'm guessing we'll be able to preorder in early 2024, and then by summer 2024 we'll get our copies.

I feel you.. and speaking as a Gex fan.. I would really hope they promote the heck out of this. This could be Gexs chance to gain popularity again and possibly get a new game.
