What do you think these symbols represent?

I seen this on the subreddit earlier when I was browsing Reddit. I'm not 100% if this person is a member here but I thought I would post this thread here to see if anyone knows what the heck these symbols are supposed to be. I thought the person wasn't sure what they did so I reminded them of the camera settings, which I even misremembered. :V Anyways the gears I assume represent manual camera because on old cameras the operator would have to crank the camera to use it. I'm not sure what the other two could represent or be based on. The one in the middle reminds me of one of the hero costumes that Gex wears in Deep Cover Gecko, but these of course are from Enter the Gecko.

They looked familiar to me. I them remembered where I saw them! They're all for camera. I'm not sure about the console ports, but on PC, these are the icons you see on the pause menu to set the camera in Gex 3D/Enter the Gecko.

Yep they're for the camera! Though I wonder what the symbols are based on? I also just realized the last one is a spring, I thought it was Gex's hands closed together. :V
