Newspaper sightings of Gex

While doing some researching for the release dates for the European versions of the GBC games. When I stumbled across a website which was https://www.newspapers.com/

One of our members, AquaKH was able to track down a bunch of newspaper articles pertaining to Gex, including a better quality image of the Gex Yo-Yo promotion, it was on the Gexpedia page which was documented 3-4 years ago, I'm glad that it has been found. It's really cool to see what the public thought of Gex at the time, also it wasn't just gaming magazines which reviewed the games.

This is some awesome stuff! It's cool to see what critics thought about the games back then. I'm biased, I love Gex but Sonic is my favorite platformer and game franchise of all time so I definitely don't agree with the Sun's journalist lol. Though at the time, we didn't really have a definitive 3D Sonic title since Adventure didn't come out until a year after Gex Enter the Gecko. So I can see why they were comparing Gex Enter the Gecko to Super Mario 64. That Best Buy ad brings back memories too, I remember seeing it as a kid.
