Anyone into YouTube Poops? Making them, even?

I guess Windows Movie Maker, or Sony Vegas from the torrents is a bit archaic now.
What editing software is popular nowadays?
Or if not exactly popular, but adequate for the job, with lots of effects?
Also, preferrably FOSS (Free and Open Source Software).
No, AI prompts do not qualify.

(By the way, YTP communities/forums are strangely introverted, and hard to penetrate.)

Oh man YTPs were hilarious! The Wilford Brimely ones always were my favorites, they were great! I don't make YTPs but I do have  a Youtube channel. I use DaVinci Resolve to edit my videos on my Windows 11 installation, but on Lubuntu I use Kdenlive and it runs better than Davinci Resolve to be honest with you lol.
