What is your favorite game console of all time?

It is a hard choice but I'd say PS1 is my all time favorite.

It was the start to a new era.. the 3D era.  Gaming Developers were trying many new things.  So many awesome game series started on the PS1.

Games like Crash Bandicoot,  Tomb Raider, and Spyro all started on the PS1.

The controller was awesome compared to those of the past aswell.  It could also play your CDs which was awesome back in the day.

I spent many years playing it with family.. That was our family time and it was awesome.

Well, I have played on so many video games consoles which were great and that makes it very difficult to choose just one as my favorite. But if I'm forced to choose, it's going to be SuperNes and PlayStation 2. The video games I was able to play on those two consoles made them exceptional.

The PlayStation 2 remains my favourite console of all time. It is one of those gaming consoles that I never got bored of playing on as it has the vibes with a lot of my friends enjoying playing games on it as well.

The Sega Mega Drive is my favorite console of all time. It was the first console I ever played as well as owned, Sonic is where my love of gaming comes from and it's why it's still my favorite gaming franchise. Next in line I would say the PS1 or PS2 is my favorite console, so many good games came out on Sony consoles. (Though if I had an Xbox growing up as a kid I would have picked that over the PS2.)

Sega was pretty awesome back then with the MEga Drive/Genesis. I still own one today for games like Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, and Earthworm Jim.

Did you know there's a new Golden Axe game coming out in the future? It was announced during the game awards last month. :D A new SoR game is coming too, which I'm also excited for since other than Sonic it's my other favorite Sega series. I loved Earthworm Jim 2, such a good game. The first one is good too but I had the 2nd game as a kid.

I have to say, it is either the Super Nintendo or the Playstation 1.

For SNES I genuinely love the vibe that games on there have. Play pretty much any game on it and you will feel all warm and cozy. I think a lot of this is to do with its sound chip, which due to some technical reason that I don't want to look into much, is really good at outputting nice, bubbly music, and gives its games a very distinctive sound. It's hard to describe unless you've played on the SNES, just listen to something like and you'll get what I mean. Generally the quality of the games is really high too, they all control really nicely and sometimes a bit buttery. There's a lot of classics on there like Mario World, A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, that I think are truly staples in their series, and all have that distinctive SNES feel that keeps me coming back to them.

PS1 is great, too. It is home to many classic game series that I enjoy like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Parappa, Oddworld, and of course Gex. I really enjoy the variety of games on the system, it's not just got 3D platformer games but it also has its fair share of 2D platformers, racing games, fighting games, rhythm games, that make it a really versatile system when it comes to gaming.

I believe the new Streets of Rage is already out.... Unless there is a number 5 coming in which case hell yeah. I did not know about Golden Axe though.  Another classic from the Genesis though that doesn't get talked about alot .. Toe Jam and Earl :).

Yep it's a new SoR, this time it's going to be in 3D which is what the fourth game originally was supposed to be. (But then that got turned into Fighting Force on the PS1/N64.) I never played Toejam and Earl but many people enjoy that one.

My favourite console is the Dreamcast. Sega gave it their all just before they had to become a 3rd party company. Even to this day the graphics look amazing, especially in VGA mode!

This is closely followed by the N64, Saturn, PS1 and 3DO! I just love that era of games!

The Dreamcast was definitely ahead of its time, unfortunately it was also released under several bad circumstances.

Jet Set Radio was awesome.

I actually still have my Sega Genesis and I'm not letting it go. It's one of my oldest console that I can't part ways with. I have always still played on it every now and then.
