Microsoft is adding a new feature to Windows 11 called Recall. It records and lets you play back the recent actions you've done on your Windows 11 PC. However, in reality it all just seems kind of like an official keylogger. What do I mean by that? Well, it records whatever windows you had open on your PC and if you use a browser that doesn't hide your password as you type it in, it will display it in the playback. It'll also display your card number too, just another thing that hackers can gain access to if they're able to steal the files Recall saves. Recall is set to roll out in a future Windows 11 update. Here's Eric Parker demonstrating how Recall works.

Yep a keylogger is exactly what that is.   Thankfully it can be disabled, but it is still pretty crazy they are doing this.

I guess Microsoft got wind of the backlash for Recall, because they've decided to delay it... Which I guess that means they will eventually release it in the future. It's a step in the right direction at least, they could have easily ignored everyone and release it anyways. I'm still debating on either making the switch to Linux or dual booting...

Going back to my last post, I have decided to dual boot Windows 11 with Lubuntu and am currently using Lubuntu as I type this reply up. I need to get a SSD eventually, but the os runs pretty dang great on a Sandisk Cruizer 128 gigs flash drive. I tried using Linux Mint on a old HDD but it was just too slow and I couldn't get OBS to work properly.
