Are you worried about how Limited Run Games is going to handle the Trilogy?

Just recently Limited Run Games was under heat when they released D The Collector's Edition for the 3D0 on CD-R discs rather than professional pressed discs. I also know they don't have the best record when it comes to release dates, and it's been almost a year since they actually announced the Gex Trilogy and there's still no concrete release date for it yet. So it got me thinking, is anyone else a bit worried about how Limited Run Games is going to handle the Gex Trilogy? I'm a bit worried myself, but I know we don't have to worry about the game not functioning right on whatever platform we choose to get it for since it's definitely not the same as getting a new release of a retro game for a retro console. I'm just worried we might not get the game, I hope it actually does come out but I'm getting impatient lol.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried at all.  I'm just keeping my fingers crossed at this point.

Everytime i see Gex go on sale for $1.49 on GOG i'm wondering what happened to the gex trilogy.
Looks like there's still a lot of waiting to do!

Well it was actually CD-R,  not CD-RW.

Oh it apparently gets even worse than that. Apparently the LRG release of D doesn't work on some 3DO units, and on the units that it does work, it stutters and crashes! I imagine this is what led to an investigation that revealed it was a CD-R.

Worse than that, I know people who have the release and have said the cardboard box packaging is starting to come apart because of the quality of glue used! :O

I didn't get D from LRG. Only 2 games I got from them are Sam & Max This Time it's Virtual and Day of the Tentacle Remastered, both on PC.

Both are fine. The boxes and discs are good quality. My only gripe is there is no installer or CD menu. The games are just laid bare on the disc and you have to drag and drop the files manually to your Pc but otherwise they play fine.
I imagine the remastered Gex trilogy will have a PC release and if they're anything like the PC games I got from them, you should be fine. :D

(Also, they're DVD-ROMs, meaning they're pressed)

Oh my bad. I'll update my post about it being CD-R and not CD-RW.  :V Yeah I don't think we have to worry about the Gex Trilogy having that same issue, but I'm still a bit weary about how they're handling the Trilogy though.
